Education
Bill was born in Madison and raised in Green Bay where he was an academic standout at Abbot Pennings High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics. After working as a manufacturing engineer for two years, Bill attended the University of Tulsa School of Law in Oklahoma where he graduated with high honors and was published in the school's Law Review Journal. Following graduation, Bill and his wife moved to Las Vegas where he handled civil cases for insurance companies at a large, well respected firm.
Bill and his family returned to Wisconsin and settled in Madison in 2000. Bill worked in one of the state's largest firms handling business litigation cases for one year and then, in January, 2002 widened his practice by taking on numerous State and Federal criminal cases throughout Wisconsin.
